A yuri fan's blog containing reviews and impressions of yuri, as well as general silly fannishness. The word "boke" in the title comes from the tsukkomi and boke in manzai comedy.
I am so sad, there's no such thing as a yuri panel where I come from. I would walk across burning coals, I would travel interstate, I would do anything to see one!
If you go to any cons in your area, you could tell the staff there that their con is nice, but it would be *great* to see a yuri panel, either when you're actually at the con or in advance, via their forum/Facebook account/Twitter. Granted, the biggest factor for cons on which panels they host is what people will volunteer to do. (And they love having people volunteer to do a panel- it's another event to draw people to the con.) It isn't hard to put one together, so hopefully we'll see more people volunteer to do yuri panels in different areas in the future.
@ P.S.- Thanks! ^^ All of my panels so far have had good participants- hopefully it'll be the same this Sunday. And I'm glad you were able to go to a good yuri panel in your area.

I just got back from a convention in the UK that had a yuri panel.
The two who ran it covered Utena,Marmite,Aoi Hana, Sasameki Koto,Strawberry Panic and Nanoha.
A group discussion and a quiz followed afterwards.
Overall, it was a wonderful panel with good panelists and a good crowd who behaved themselves.
Hope your panel goes well!
