So it
really is being animated. I don't really have anything to add to
what I said previously about the idea of a
Yuruyuri adaptation. Purely on its own merits, there's nothing about
Yuruyuri that I'm excited about, but again, if it establishes a precedent for better
Yuri Hime titles being green-lit, I'm all for it.
I can kind of see why this was chosen. Slice of life series about several unusual school girls with no male involvement. Only real difference it the yuri is more overt. Anyway I am excited about this news. I like Yuruyuri and I am exited about this.
ReplyDeleteI hope maybe one of Fujieda Miyabi series is chosen next. Wonderful lite comedy, seinen character design, actual yuri without the standard drama, and short enough for the whole story to fit within a 13 episode season (which unfortunately I think is all they might get based on Aoi Hana).
@Hobo Jack- In light of the success of shows like Hidamari Sketch and K-ON, yes, I can see why this was green-lit. While it isn't my cup o' tea, I'm happy for the fans who are into this series.
ReplyDeleteAnd hear, hear! for a Fujieda Miyabi adaptation. :D
